The next big project from Radio Galaxy is our feature-length film:

...but what is it about?
In short, it is a mockumentary about a 1980s horror director as he shines a light behind the scenes of a movie series he started and the struggles it took to keep the franchise going for forty years despite the best efforts of everyone involved.

In long, it is a movie in the vein of horror series documentaries like
Crystal Lake Memories and
Never Sleep Again...
except ours is a mockumentary poking fun at that kind of movie with a fake horror movie series called:
The Heavy Metal Massacre
Which features the demon-possessed guitar named Shredistophiles. Anyone who takes ownership of Shredistophiles and plays him gets possessed and transforms into the Heavy Metal Monster known as Metalhead.

As you know there are 8 movies in the Heavy Metal Massacre Franchise.
There is:
The Heavy Metal Massacre (1987)
The first movie, where a troubled teen buys Shredistophiles from a pawn shop and is unwittingly transformed into Metalhead.
Heavy Metal Massacre: Side B (1988)
Not quite the first movie, where a minor character from the first movie re-tells everything that happened in the first movie to the police.
Heavy Metal Massacre: 3D (1990)
A 3D sequel with the characters from the first movie back again to make a deal with the devil and to try and be rid of Metalhead once and for all.
Heavy Metal Massacre: Quartet (1993)
Metalhead returns from the grave and brings entire his demonic band back together as a pantheon of musical demons that drag a whole town into hell.
HMM and the Four Hornsmen of the Skapokalypse (1996)
An expansion on the HMM franchise with an expansion on the pantheon of musical demons when Skanubis tricks a Ska band into bringing about the Skapokalypse.
Metalhead 2000 (2000)
The series takes Metalhead into the not-distant-enough future and to outer space where no one can hear you shred.
Stabaclaus vs. Metalhead (2009)
A crossover movie with the Stabaclaus franchise where Stabaclaus and Metalhead fight over who gets the thrill of the kill on Christmas.
Heavy Metal Massacre: Remix (2027)
-A Modern Rebootquel of the HMM franchise with an all new look for Metalhead whether the fans like it or not.

Our mockumentary is the story of the making of these 8 movies, the people who worked on them, and the teams that brought it all together. There will be talking heads, footage and trailers from the 8 movies in the series, news footage, and "behind the scenes" footage and interviews of what was going on while the movies were being made as well.
This is the largest project we have ever undertaken and has consumed all our time since we first started on it. We have over 100 people from all across the United States, Germany, Venezuela, Canada, The Phillipines, the Netherlands and Japan who are our Artists, Actors, Camera Operators, Effects Artists, Musicians, Stage Managers, Lighting Technicians, Editors, Costume-Makers, Craftsmen, Sound-Technicians, and Pyrotechnic Specialists that are working together to create one mockumentary movie Written and Directed by Michael Trupiano and Nikolas Howard.
As it stands we have about 25% of the movie filmed with the movies scenes and behind the scenes footage needed for the final project now completed... but as of May 2026 we still have 25 talking heads to record and 30 scenes from various movies and such to record for the final project as well. We have the props built and in the process of being made, we have the effects equipment ready, we have the art either created or being crafted, and we are casting (some of it as we go) but we are still filming. Every week we are either filming, crafting, or planning for future shoots.
The entire movie is being made piecemeal as we have the time, resources, and scheduling align for everyone to film and then we get a little done at a time as we have been doing since 2025. Getting all those people in line and to keep The plan is to finish in early 2027 and to go from there, but time will tell and we hope you will enjoy our
